Mohamad Al Ayouby and Mr. Ayman Hamze, participated in the Malta V Conference last week, joining 130 participants comprised of government officials, judges, legal experts, and international organizations. The conference, organized by HCCH - Hague Conference on Private International Law, focused on cross-border family law challenges, with a special emphasis on International Parental Child Abduction (IPCA). The discussions explored how civil, common, and Islamic law systems can collaborate to protect children's rights and promote access to justice for families.

Our participation highlights iHOPE’s commitment and dedication to preserve the rights of IPCA victims and to foster global cooperation for child protection and justice.

It's so heartwarming seeing our dear friends and fierce advocates, Ms. Michelle Littleton, Dr. Noelle Hunter and Mr. Jeffrey Morehouse lead the fight against International Parental Child Abduction last week in the US Congress.

Ms. Littleton, having experienced the traumas of IPCA years prior, has decided to use her experience to support left-behind parents, emotionally and through on-field advocacy.
Ms. Littleton has been advocating on behalf of Ms. Sarah Chelbi, who has had her 3 year old son abducted to Lebanon, and has guided her every step of the way.

We take pride in our friendship with Dr. Hunter, Ms. Littleton and Mr. Morehouse. They are our symbol of HOPE and STRENGTH! Their courage to make change is forever admirable.

These pictures remain as trophies of hard work and perseverance in the face of traumatic incidents.

iHOPE representatives, Atty. Mohamad Al Ayouby and Atty. Rasha Kayal, attended the US Embassy’s Independence Day Celebration at the US Embassy on June 26, marking 248 years of Independence.

While The Fourth of July became an unpaid federal holiday in 1870, it was on June 29, 1938, that a law was passed turning it into a paid holiday for federal employees. This became a bigger symbol of patriotism over the years.

The event included members of Parliament, judges, religious leaders, Embassy delegations, NGO representatives and much more, highlighting the undying efforts of cultural diversity by the US Embassy and Department of State.
